Lori Twichell is the owner of Beyond the Buzz Marketing. She is also the Marketing Director for Christian Work at Home Moms and JV Media Design. In her spare time, Lori is co-owner of Radiant Lit and a professional book reviewer for Fiction Addict. Lori and her husband live in San Antonio, Texas with their three kids and two dogs.

Q: Why marketing?
My brain doesn't shut off with crazy ideas. I figured I may as well have some fun with it and make a career too.
Q: Where do you draw inspiration from?
I like to think outside the box. I love entertainment and I think that marketing and sharing the news about things you've done should be an experience - so I try to bring those things together as much as I can.
Q: What's the most rewarding thing about what you do?
When people are excited about their projects and what they've done and then we get to translate that excitement into their marketing plan. It's fun to watch people leverage their passion about their project into a successful marketing plan for their business.
Q: What's the last book you read?
I review books professionally (in all my spare time) so I read a lot. I'm currently reading D. Barkley Briggs The Book of Names.
Q: Fav tunes while working?
I'm eclectic. I can listen to classics, classical, pop, country, Christian...whatever strikes me at the time...
Q: If you had 2 extra hours in the day what would you do with them?
Probably overschedule them and wish that I had more...
Q: Name 3 items on your desk right now.
Tardis USB hub (yes, I'm a geek), a variety of pens in myriad colors, multiple pieces of Twichell kid artwork. (I have that all over my house actually.)
Q: Fav snack to munch on while you're working?
Homemade potato chips.
Q: Besides design what else are you passionate about?
Hmmm. Reading and writing have always been my passions. Even from the time I was little, I would 'copy' the writing in my favorite books to write my own. Now, that passion is still there, but it comes behind my husband, kids and my volunteer work supporting the U.S. Military.
