Eco-Chef Frying Pan
Even designers have to cook.
Being a green, health-conscious person I am it took me awhile to find a frying pan I could live with. Yes, non-stick pans are easy to use, but with the chemicals used on them I didn’t want to put my healthy food into a not-very-healthy frying pan. I tried stainless steel frying pans and experience much frustration and pancakes with a missing bottom layer (as it was stuck to the pan). I am not a chef (designer – remember!) so I never could get the hang of how to properly cook things to not stick in stainless. I knew there had to be an alternative out there, so I turned to my old friend Google to give me advice and suggestions on the matter.
One thing that came up at the top of the heap when searching for a non-toxic, safe AND green frying pan was this Eco-Chef number.
Here’s the specs on this:

The most important thing (beyond the above of course) is that it works like a dream. Definitely my most favorite frying pan ever.
I got mine off amazon.com, but I believe ecnowtech.com has it listed for a lot cheaper. Either way, worth the price.
