JV Media Design Now Offering Eco-Friendly Printing and Renewable Energy Hosting Solutions

“The environment is one thing we should all be considerate of – no matter what business you operate”, says Creative Director, Sherry Holub of the small California-based design firm. “JV Media Design has always been involved, to a lesser degree, with environmental causes and organizations through donations and through the use of recycled business supplied whenever possible. I just felt we could be doing even more.”

This spring, Sherry and her team started to actively seek out ways to make JV Media Design a greener business. The company now offers its clients hosting through www.CanvasDreamst.com, which uses renewable energy sources to power its servers and printing through www.GreenerPrinter.com, which uses soy-based inks and recycled papers and 4over who uses soy based inks. “We were doing graphic design even before we started creating websites and multimedia presentations, and recently we wanted to also offer our clients a one-stop-shop to have their printing done. After trying a few printing companies out, we finally decided on Greener Printer. We want to at least be able to offer a printing option to our clients who are also concerned about environmental issues.”

“Earlier this spring we submitted an application and were accepted into Co-Op America (www.coopamerica.org), which I feel will help us promote our new offerings of green printing and hosting and might even increase awareness in our existing client base”. Co-Op America is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to harnessing the economic power of consumers, investors and businesses to promote social justice and environmental sustainability.
